Production Technician (Paint) Location: Columbus, OH, 43207-2844Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour Introduction:Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Are you looking for work in the Columbus, OH area? Qualified Staffing is hiring for our client, a truck equipment manufacturer located in Columbus, OH, and we want you! Schedule:Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM Overtime available based on production needs. Responsibilities:
Prepare and paint vehicles, ensuring a smooth, high-quality finish.
Sand surfaces, remove parts, and mask areas to protect them during the painting process.
Mix paints according to vehicle color codes to match existing finishes.
Apply primers, lacquers, enamels, and epoxy coatings using spray guns, brushes, rollers, and other painting equipment.
Measure paint thickness and inspect for consistency and quality.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all company safety and quality standards.
Assist with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of factory-related painting experience.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Strong mathematical aptitude and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic production environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
