Job Duties
Gather raw materials to weigh and measure by use of scales to ensure conformance to batch requirements
Dump and pour materials into mixing vessel manually or by use of equipment
Set-up, operate, and tend blending and canning equipment
Inspect labels, packaging, and containers for defects
Ensure finished product is appropriately labeled and ready for shipment
Maintain a clean and organized work area by performing clean up duties, such as sweeping, mopping, putting tools away, etc.
Set-up, operate, and tend equipment
Transfer finished product to designated container per the batch requirements
Ensure conformity of fill levels and accurate number and type of container
Cross train in other departments such as Shipping/Receiving
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
1 continuous year previous experience in a manufacturing setting
Must be able to follow instructions
Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team setting
Possess basic math and reading/ writing skills
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Frequently lift and/or move 25 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
While performing the job duties, regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, or squat
Personal protective equipment is required (safety glasses, steel to shoes, disposable gloves, and hearing protection)
Shift/Hours/Pay
1st shift 6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday $18.00
2nd shift 2pm-12:30am Monday-Thursday $18.50
Overtime on all shifts may be required
