About The Position
As a Production Team Member, you will be trained to operate a machine to produce plastic parts for the automotive industry. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Run up to two printers with different size and color capacities.
- Ability to check and load ink into printer
- Make quick corrections to avoid expensive losses of paper and ink.
- Check and scale file image sizes
- Transfer files, blend colors, and proof images electronically using digital presses
- Read/verify work orders and proofs received from the internal department
- Inspect and examine printed products for print clarity, color accuracy, conformance to specifications, and external defects.
- Load, position, and adjust unprinted materials on holding fixtures or equipment loading and feeding mechanisms.
- Remove printed materials from presses, using hand trucks, electric lifts, or hoists, and transport them to drying, storage, or finishing areas.
- Set and adjust equipment speed, temperature, ink flow, positions, and pressure tolerances.
