Job Description
Production Operator
Our client is seeking motivated and reliable employees to work in the labeling and packaging of their hand-crafted spirits! This role involves operating machinery and performing manual tasks to bottle and package our liquor products.
This is a temporary assignment for a minimum of 4-6 weeks, Monday through Thursday, 7am-5:30pm (10 hour shifts) in Madison, NC.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Operate Equipment: Operate bottling and packaging machinery, ensuring smooth and efficient performance to meet production targets.
· Product Quality: Monitor and maintain product quality throughout the bottling and packaging process, conducting routine quality checks on products and packaging materials.
· Manual Packaging: Manually pack finished products into boxes, ensuring proper labeling and preparing them for shipment.
· Workplace Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and company standards.
· Troubleshooting: Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the maintenance team to minimize downtime.
· Documentation: Accurately complete production logs and quality control records as required.
· Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals and ensure a smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred
· Ability to operate machinery and perform manual tasks efficiently
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
· Basic understanding of safety protocols and procedures
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 25 pounds
· Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
· Manual dexterity and the ability to perform repetitive tasks
