Production Associate – New Albany, IN Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire | 1st Shift Pay: $18.00 per hour Introduction: Qualified Staffing is currently hiring Packing / Production Associates for a manufacturing facility located in New Albany, IN. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, take pride in maintaining a clean and organized production area, and are interested in long-term growth. We are especially seeking candidates who are motivated, dependable, and willing to take ownership of their work area. Schedule:

Position Summary: As a Packing / Production Associate, you will support daily production operations by filling, sealing, and palletizing product while maintaining a clean and efficient work environment. This role requires physical activity, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset. Candidates who show initiative and leadership potential will have opportunities to grow. Key Responsibilities:
Palletize 50 lb. bags by lifting from a conveyor and stacking neatly and efficiently.
Fill bags with product using an automatic weigh scale.
Tag and seal bags using a sewing machine or heat sealer.
Clean production lines between orders using brooms, vacuums, air hoses, and other tools to maintain a seed-free environment.
Assist with basic maintenance and minor repairs on production line equipment as needed.
Follow all safety, quality, and production standards.
Support team members and take ownership of the production area.
Qualifications & Skills:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
Willingness to learn and operate a forklift (experience not required).
Manufacturing or production experience preferred but not required.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
Desire to grow and potentially lead others in the production area.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
