Job Description
Do you have experience working in production and or warehouse? Qualified Staffing is seeking a hands-on production associate for our client in Macon, Georgia.
Hours: Monday – Friday 6:00am-2:00pm
Pay: $16/hour
Number of open positions: 2
The Production Associate is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by preparing and handling finished products for shipment and ensuring quality standards are met. This role requires physical stamina, teamwork, adherence to safety procedures, and accuracy in completing production tasks. Key Responsibilities:
Pack finished product on skids and band, stretch wrap, and secure for shipping.
Perform quality checks and inform operators of any defects.
Install side boards and move finished products to designated areas.
Fill out required paperwork accurately.
Occasionally tie bales when the baler is full.
Follow all safety regulations and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Perform other duties as assigned and work overtime as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
Basic measurement skills (read tape measure and calipers).
Team player with the ability to work independently.
Familiar with work orders and production equipment.
