Job Identification Reports to: Actuation Production ManagerSubordinates:  NoneLocation:   Armada, MI Main Purpose 
  1. Directly involved in the assembly and repair functions for the Actuation side of the business
 Key Responsibilities 
  1. Assemble parts or units, and position, align, and fasten units to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames, using hand tools and power tools
  2. Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements
  3. Attach product labels and mark identifying information on parts
  4. Read blueprints and specifications to determine component parts and assembly sequences of actuator units
  5. Measure parts to determine tolerances, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
  6. Clean and lubricate parts and subassemblies as required
  7. Drill, tap and ream using drill presses and portable power drills
 Education Required 
  1. High School Diploma

 Physical Abilities
  1. Hands-on position requiring excellent near vision, arm/hand steadiness and manual dexterity
  2. Job requires sitting and standing for long periods of time
  3. Regularly lift 40 pounds
  4. Regularly perform repetitive tasks
  5. Regularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately
  6. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
