PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE - 3rd Shift  Do you have plastic injection knowledge or are you looking to learn plastic injection molding?  Our client needs you, regardless of your skill level.  Come work with a leader in automotive trims and products in Ubly, Michigan.  Clean work environment with controlled temperature.  Work schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 pm to 7:00 am with overtime depending on production needs.  Pay rate is $16.30 per hour with yearly bonus for no missed time.

Job Requirements                                                                     High School diploma or equivalent, competency in reading and basic math skills, ability to perform repetitive tasks                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Job Summary  Pack quality parts and to fill all production and work orders. Essential Job Functions
  1. To set-up and maintain production lines and maintain process stability throughout the production run.
  2. Complete Control Plan Verification Check Offs.
  3. Run quality parts to fill out all existing production and work orders.
  4. Fill out identification of raw material on all applicable production paperwork, e.g., Production Order, Control Plan Verification Check Off.
  5. Accurately record production on Production Control - Worksheets.
  6. Record all scrap with Reason Codes on the Production Control - Worksheets.
  7. Keep an accurate record of all activities performed with times and dates on his/her Daily labor bill.
  8. Visually inspect and compare production parts with sample parts to assure defect-free products with in established production standards.
  9. Label cartons.
  10. Package a specified number of defect-free parts in an appropriately sized and labeled container and place on a skid, in accordance with packaging specifications to prevent damage when shipping.
  11. Retrieve all documents for the production runs and return to proper files when complete.
  12. Perform secondary production operations and reworking of parts and fill out related documents.
  13. Perform production order sign-off responsibility.
  14. Return sample part and compare with first/last piece.
  15. Follow lockout procedures.
  16. General housekeeping.
  17. Test run new dies when requested
