Key Responsibilities
Set up and start production runs, including mold changes, parameter checks, and first-shot approvals
Document and troubleshoot processes, using 6-step problem-solving and 8D methods
Perform routine mold maintenance and clean-up (purges, scrap tracking, housekeeping)
Communicate line-up details and handoffs between shifts for seamless operation
Train new technicians on current molding techniques and SOPs
Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to boost quality and reduce downtime
What We’re Looking For
1+ year as a Process or Mold Technician (automotive or plastics preferred)
Mechanical aptitude and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Experience with robotic automation (Sepro, Ranger a plus)
Familiarity with GD&T, SPC, and QC documentation
Valid Hi-Lo (forklift) license or ability to obtain one
Strong communication skills and a proactive, safety-first mindset
