Job Description
Come work for an established manufacturer of high-end emblems, grilles, and decorative trim for the automotive industry. Lapeer area manufacturer is looking for Process Technician to join their team. This is a 2nd Shift position, Mon-Fri, 2PM-10PM. Pay is based upon experience ranging from $20-22 per hour.

General Summary of Position:
Responsible to function as the Process Technician and to follow all IATF16949 and 6S instructions.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
-Process refinement to exceed quality and production standards.
-Maintain process standards as established.
-Communicate and document tooling and machinery problems.
-Troubleshooting of process.
-Participate in corrective action teams and activities.
-Document process and deviations, as required.
-Report any and all safety issues.
-Obtain first shot approval and last shot.
-Document scrap and production sheets as required.
-Fills in for shift supervisor as needed
- Other duties as directed by management.
Education/Skills/Experience:
-Machine and process knowledge.
-Basic SPC.
-Able to communicate quality and production issues.
-Working knowledge of all processes.
-Math and reading skills, as applies.
-Knowledge of good health and company and MIOSHA safety practices.
