Job Description

Auburn Hills manufacturer is seeking a Press Assistant. This position requires you to assist the Lead Pressman in the department with all assigned duties. This is an afternoon shift, Monday-Thursday, 3:30PM-1:30AM (4 10-hour shifts); pay starts at $17 per hour.   Qualified candidates must submit a complete, up-to-date resume to be considered.  Experience in manufacturing and press operation is preferred. Training for the right individual.  Must have excellent attendance.

Responsibilities: 
  1. Mechanical aptitude is required.
  2. Running automated stacker/bundler.
  3. Loading bundles on pallets (with mechanical assistance)
  4. Hanging press plates.
  5. Loading rolls of paper on press.
  6. Quality control.
  7. Wash-up procedures.
  8. Standing entire shift.
  9. Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
  10. Must have excellent work history, attendance and reliability.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS*HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
