Job Description
MOLDING PREP TECHNICIAN - 3rd Shift
Are you looking for a career in injection molding? Our client is an expert in sheet molding, resin transfer molding, fiberglass reinforced plastics and vacuum forming, and they are looking for Molding Prep Technicians for 1st shift in their Romeo facility. Plastic molding experience a plus but not necessary. Will train the right person! Work schedule is 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM with some occasional overtime. Pay rate is $15.75 per hour ($15.00 plus $0.75 shift premium) with opportunity for pay raise 90-days after hired.

General Responsibilities:
- Follow change over procedures and all other necessary standard work in performing all tasks as assigned
- Safely utilize tools (knives, nippers, etc.) and secondary equipment to produce high quality products and includes knowing how to use Personal Protection Equipment, proper lifting techniques.
- Communicates effectively including shift change overs, walkthroughs
- Paint raw product to consumer liking
- Make sure product is to quality specifications
- Package and prepare product for shipment
- Good verbal communications skills
- Basic mechanical experience
- Basic computer knowledge
- Self-directed/motivated
- Works well with others with a great attitude
- Work OT/Weekends and shift assigned
