Job Description
Lapeer plastic injection molding company specializing in components, emblems, ornamentations, decorative trims and other plastic components is seeking Plating Associates to join their team. 1st and 2nd Shifts Available. THESE ARE TEMPORARY POSITIONS through the month of December (possibly temp-to-hire for the right associates). Plating (8 to 10-hour shifts): 1st Shift: $14.00/hr; 2nd Shift: $14.75/hr 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Mon–Fri; Sat as needed); 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Mon–Fri; Sat as needed). Inspect chrome-plated and plastic parts for quality
Rack and un-rack components
Clip or trim excess material
Assemble lenses and chrome-plated parts
Operate basic machinery and injection molding equipment
Package and label finished products
Track scrap and production data
Perform general assembly and lifting (up to 35 lbs)
No experience necessary in manufacturing. Training provided.
Requirements:* HSD or GED* Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours.* Good attendance and punctuality required.
