This is a supportive role to the Payroll Department focusing on daily processes as well as cyclical and compliance-related work as detailed below:

  • Support the daily activities for the Payroll Department, including maintaining the Payroll Helpdesk communications for U.S. and Global payroll needs
  • Conduct administrative processing and review of invoices
  • Support Grader and Forensic payroll communications and coordination for current and upcoming Grader payroll filing, events, preparations, resolutions of issues, and spreadsheet documentation of data
  • Support Tax administration and communications, including maintenance of incoming and outgoing checks, filings, reviewing tax information for year-end filing preparations, corrections, and W2-related requirements
  • Assist with payroll and related reconciliations to the general ledger
  • Provide excellent customer service by assessing customer needs, researching and resolving issues, and communicating outcomes to employees and managers
  • Support organization and review of payroll and related record retention and organization of both virtual and physical data
  • Review and confirm accuracy of HR employee data feeds
  • Support audit preparations, including timekeeping, earning, and deduction records in accordance with internal and external audit requirements, and report findings or anomalies to manager
  • Assist payroll team with creating and updating current S.O.P.'s for U.S., Grader, and International payroll processing as well as reconciliations
  • Support department with spreadsheet documentation, analysis, and report creation 


Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM

Requirements (candidates must meet each below requirement to be considered):

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or other applicable discipline
  • 1-3 years of payroll, tax, and accounting experience including multi-state tax requirements (international experience a plus)
  • Possesses strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to provide outstanding customer service
  • Self-starter who can work effectively and independently on projects, successfully contribute to team deliverables, and demonstrates initiative in investigating issues and identifying opportunities
  • Experience with and knowledge of Workday Payroll preferred, or other HRIS/Payroll solution technology
  • Experience with NetSuite a plus
  • Experience with all aspects of payroll deductions and reporting as it relates to employee benefits, taxes, garnishments, and other deductions
  • Knowledge and experience with local, multi-state, and Federal payroll-related compliance, preferably with international experience
  • Experience with reconciliation of general ledgers, processing third party vendor interfaces, and tax liabilities
  • Intermediate to Advance Excel skills
  • High degree of professionalism and ability to work with confidential information
