Are you an experienced Dispatcher who thrives in a fast-paced transportation environment?
Qualified Staffing is seeking an experienced Over-the-Road (OTR) Dispatcher for our client in Forsyth, Ga.
NOTE: This is not an entry-level logistics role. Applicants must have hands-on, day-to-day experience dispatching OTR drivers for a trucking carrier or transportation company.
Schedule: Will begin as Part-Time Monday- Friday, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm, does have ability to go full-timePay Rate: $15-20/hr based on experienceAvailable positions: 1 Requirements:
  • Direct OTR trucking dispatch experience 
  • Working knowledge of HOS regulations, ELD logs, load tracking, and appointment scheduling
  • Experience with driver communication and retention
  • Ability to manage multiple drivers and loads at once
  • Calm under pressure and time-sensitive situations 
  • Organized an detail oriented
 Responsibilities:
  • Dispatch OTR drivers and assign loads based on HOS, availability, and delivery schedules
  • Track loads and provide real-time status and ETA updates to customers and brokers
  • Monitor ELD logs and ensure Hours of Service compliance
  • Coordinate pickup/delivery appointments, reloads, and minimize empty miles
  • Manage service issues including delays, detention, breakdowns, and repowers
  • Document load activity and communicate with drivers, safety, and maintenance in TM
