Pay: $17-$22 an hour Shift: Days - 6AM - 2:30 PM

Character of Position

As an Electrical Panel Assembler, you will play an integral role in the process of laying out and building electrical panels to meet customer needs. You will need to be motivated and detail oriented with strong intrapersonal skills to be part of a team as well as being able to work independently.

 

Responsibilities
  • Use of Crane & Rigging
  • Use of Hilo
  • Review Electrical prints (to identify obvious issues)
  • Review Work instructions (looking for any special requirements)
  • Will be responsible for projects without being given a complete lineup
  • Compare kitted parts to Electrical BOM for any discrepancy and report
  • Build Prep 
    • print wire labels
    • cut Din rail
    • cut Wire duct
    • cut Tag track
    • procure mounting hardware
  • Assembly of electrical plates and enclosures from build prep per documentation
  • Assemble electrical components, controllers etc. per documentation
  • Wire required components utilizing color/gauge, ferrules, cables, tags, and required identification according to print
  • Field work at customer site both install and service
  • Foster a positive team environment by assisting co-workers
  • Follow quality standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
  • Other duties as assigned


Skills
  • Precise attention to detail
  • Understanding and ability to use power tools
  • Solid understanding of Electrical drawing
  • Solid understanding of Mechanical drawings
  • Understanding of measurement equipment 
      • T-Square
      • Tape measure
      • Torque wrench
      • Scale
  • Clear communication with coworkers/manager
  • Ability to work independently


Education
  • High School Diploma
  • Technical or vocational is a plus
