Job Description
Paint Prepper/Sander
1st Shift 6a-4:30p M-F
Pay: $15-20 Depending on experience
Paint Preparation
- Learn to tell the difference between quality product and non-approved product
- Be able to use and maintain sanders and other equipment to prepare the product for painting
- Help to move product through steps from raw materials/paint booth
- Assist in moving product to the sanding area and paint booth
- Clean up work space at the end of each day
- Keep tools in good working order
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift 50 lbs. regularly
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to follow instructions carefully
- Detail oriented
- Able to work well independently
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a paint prep role
- Experience with powder coating
- Experience with industrial painting
- Aptitude for learning new techniques
