Job Description

***Packer Operator positions open in Macomb***
Staring at $16.00/hr

Duties:
  • Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials and requirements for sort.
  • May need to open containers.
  • Parts will be visually inspected and sorted on an ergonomically safe tabletop and pushed/dropped into a box.
  • Counts, weighs, and records the number of units of materials moved or handled per sort and recorded as required.
  • Assembles boxes.
  • Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, boxes, or other containers as instructed.
  • Loads materials onto pallets or trays.
  • May need to operate a manual pallet jack to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
  • Keeps work area clean.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
