Lapeer area high precision, high volume machining company is looking for experience pack room associates to join their team. This is an automotive parts manufacturing facility. 1st and 2nd Shift available. Pay is based on experience, $15-16 per hour. Job responsibilities include (but not limited to):
• Inspects, tests, or measures materials, products, or work for conformance to specifications.
• Measures dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
• Records inspection such as quantities inspected or graded.
• Marks items with details such as grade or acceptance-rejection status* Strong attention to detail necessary, this is a visual inspection position. May need to sit and sort/pack parts for long periods of time or stand for long periods at an inspection machine and visually inspect before loading• Other duties as assigned
