Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated and dependable Part-Time Assistant Manager to support daily operations and help lead our team in delivering outstanding service and high-quality food products. This position plays a key role in maintaining an efficient and organized work environment while providing excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation & Service:
Prepare and assemble sandwiches and other menu items.
Assist with food prep and maintain quality standards.
Set up and organize catering orders accurately and on time.
Operational Support:
Train and be trained on glazing and handling specialty hams.
Ensure proper storage and organization of the walk-in cooler and freezer.
Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions.
Team Leadership:
Oversee employees during assigned shifts to ensure productivity and task completion.
Support management in maintaining a clean, safe, and positive work environment.
Provide direction and support to team members as needed.
Qualifications:
Prior food service or retail experience preferred.
Ability to lead by example and work independently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Schedule:
Part-time hours, with flexibility required during busy seasons and holidays.
