Position Description
- Operates a variety of production machines.
- Processing coils following specifications and tolerances.
- Performs measurements and visual inspections with precisions tools.
- Documents production metrics including rejected pieces.
- Operates Hilo and overhead crane (in house certifications provided).
Required Skills
- Strong work history with minimal gaps in employment.
- Good attendance and punctuality.
- Hilo experience with prior certification.
- Prolonged periods working on feet, using numeric and hand tools.
- Performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending, stooping and twisting.
- Operate Steel Coil Compactor, Banding Wheel, Banding Crimper, and similar equipment.
- Must have finger dexterity to use calibers.
- Must be able to Pull wire with 50 pounds of pressure.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
- Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
- Must be able to climb a ladder.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Must score 60% or higher on a Bennett Mechanical Test.
Educational Requirement
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of on-the-job training may be substituted for educational requirements.
