Job Description

Are you a people person with a detail-oriented personality? Do you enjoy engaging with customers and potential business partners? Our client, a local third generation roofing company in Richmond, is now hiring an Office Assistant! Interviews are being conducted for immediate hire!  Position: Office AssistantLocation: Richmond, VACompensation: $16-18 / hour, Based on ExperienceSchedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm w/ 1-hour lunch JOB TASKS / FUNCTIONS:
  • Assist with the management of day-to-day office operations 
  • Review invoices for accuracy and deliver them to clientele
  • Continuously field inbound calls, support client needs, and help generate reviews for the business. 
  • Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments
  • Manage scheduling of sales visit and lead follow-up
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs; including competitive analysis and innovations for new products and services. 
  • Remain aware of best practices and promotional trends
  • Continuously improve through feedback
  • Other duties as assigned
  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Basic understanding of vendor invoices, purchase orders and receiving documents.
  • Organized and the ability to be multi-tasked oriented.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across departments.
  • Attention to detail and timely data entry skills
  • Analytical and problem- solver
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google products
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, i.e. Acculynx
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently and within a team environment
 ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. HS Diploma, GED or equivalent
  2. Driver’s License (Required)
  3. One (1-3) year of relevant work experience (Office Admin/Customer Service)
