JOB TITLE

Grading Coordinator



JOB DESCRIPTION

This position will provide onsite assistance and support during the Grading Project. The scope of duties are as follows but not limited to:
  • Onsite assistance at Grading Center, 1-23 July 2019
  • Creation of Staff Schedule for T&EM Grading team
  • Manage all hospitality suites at the five hotels utilized by Graders
  • Gift ordering and distribution onsite
  • Provide support for audio visual needs at Monticello High School during Grading
  • Provide support for ground transportation for Graders, including airport arrivals and departures as well as daily shuttle loops and on-demand vehicle services
  • Support event planning of full range of social program portfolio, including catering, venue management, entertainment, and d cor
  • Onsite support at Grading social events
  • Vendor management at Grading Center to include newspaper delivery, water delivery, composting vendor, and towel cleaning service
  • Other projects as assigned from Grading team
  • Grading wrap-up responsibilities to include vendor payments, billing reconciliation, and compiling Grader feedback into actionable improvements for Grading 2020
  • Administratively support Event Planners with high visibility events
  • Support site selection and contracting of global events Department administrative support (data reporting, execution of special projects)
  • Provide a high level of customer service through direct Internal Client interactions including in person, by phone, and in writing (via the Internal Meetings Helpdesk and Events mailbox)



REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced office, supporting multiple competing priorities
  • Experience supporting events, conferences, and meetings
  • High level of experience and proficiency with MS Office
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with all levels of stakeholders and users
  • Requires strong multi-tasking skills and flexibility in competently juggling competing priorities and changing expectations
  • Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of professionalism
  • Must have the ability to work with a team as well as handle tasks independently
  • Willingness to ask questions rather than just follow directions is required
  • Must demonstrate good judgment and mature business skills



SCHEDULE

8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday

Starting ASAP until September 30, 2019

PAY RATE

$18/hour
