Position: Direct Hire  Multi-Craft Maintenance Emergency TechLocation:  Cartersville, GAPay:  $28-$32 an hour may be flexible for the right experience levelShift:  Midnights
Position SummaryAn emergency maintenance technician's job is to respond to and repair equipment and systems in a facility when they break or malfunction.  Maintenance Emergency Technician Job Description Maintenance Emergency Tech to assist our maintenance team with urgent tasks. MET will be repairing and maintaining equipment and the facility during production. Will also be diagnosing problems and determining if major repairs are needed. Preparing and setting machinery for production runs. The goal of an MET is to keep the manufacturing process running smoothly.  Maintenance Emergency Technician Responsibilities: 
  • Troubleshooting: Identifying and fixing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic issues 
  • Routine maintenance: Performing regular inspections and maintenance on buildings and systems 
  • Scheduling repairs: Working with building occupants to schedule major repairs 
  • Safety: Ensuring that buildings and systems meet health and safety standards 
  • Documentation: Keeping up-to-date records, especially in regulated environments 
 Maintenance Emergency Technician Requirements:
 
  1. High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  2. Multi Craft Electrical Experience Required
  3. Fast paced environment 
  4. Self-starter, minimal instructions 
  5. Industrial maintenance: 3 years (Preferred)
  6. Mechanical knowledge: 3 years (Preferred)
