Metal Polisher Qualified Staffing is hiring for a global supplier of process engineering and equipment. They sell mixers, tanks, and control systems worldwide in over 60 countries. Summary: As a Metal Polisher you would fill an essential role on our team. The Metal Polisher is a full-time, non-exempt, entry-level position with an hourly wage beginning at $20.00 per hour. Shift: 1st shift- 6:30AM-3:00 PM plus OT DUTIES -Handle and prepare parts for performing polishing operations with machine polishers and hand tools.-Operate polishing equipment such as hand files, grinders, disks, rotary sanders, and abrasive wheels.-Remove bumps or indentations in the metal parts without stretching or cutting through the finished piece with care to maintain contours, edges, and dimensions.-Locate and gather materials and supplies needed, check material for correctness and quality. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS -Able to work in repetitive movements, requiring good dexterity and hand- eye coordination.-Must be able to stand, and bend for 8 hours per day and lift at least 50 pounds within a non-temperature-controlled environment.-Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including Respirator when working.-Experience using hand and power tools.-Willing to work overtime.-Background in sheet metal, a plus.
