Job Description
Now hiring a Medical Front Office Admin in the Cartersville/Calhoun area. This is a split location job. 4 days a week in Cartersville, 1 day a week in Calhoun. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide the highest level of customer service is provided to patients, fellow employees, and referral sources • Answer Phones • Schedule patients • Appointment confirmations • Reschedule no show appointments and cancellations • Check in patients/notify practitioner • Process patient intake paperwork • Obtain and enter accurate insurance information • Obtain and enter accurate patient demographics • Obtain Medical Documents such as Dispensing Order, Standard Written Order, Medical Records, etc for your team’s patients • Run insurance eligibility in OPIE or insurance portal as needed • Follow all Workflow process for the Check-In and Check-Out process as per company policy • Collect patients’ financial responsibility if needed • Manage all appointments: New Evaluations, Deliveries, Follow Up, Adjustments, Repairs, etc. • Ensure the privacy and security of protected health information per HIPAA requirements • Communicate any pertinent information to others involved in the patients care team • Coordinate scheduling of practitioner schedules to ensure proper coverage of patient appointments and out-of-office calls. • Perform pre-delivery check • Create Service Estimates and Patient Financial Documents in Nymbl • Maintain accurate and complete patient files, ensuring that they follow the company policy • Conduct Work in Progress meetings with practitioners and technical staff when need • Assist/Screen call for practitioners and communicate information as deemed necessary • Manage WIP on a daily/weekly basis and meet with WIP Manager every 4 days • Perform other duties or special projects as assigned QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required • Minimum one-year front office experience preferred, Medical Office Preferred
