Job Description
Summary:Our client is an OEM supplier that specializes in designing, testing, and manufacturing unique solutions for multiple systems and multiple industries. They are looking for a Material Handler to join their team on 1st shift (8:00am – 4:30pm). The person in this role will be responsible for overseeing the movement, storage, and control of materials in the facility. Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and locations
Monitor and track material movements within the facility
Prepare materials for production, assembly, or shipment
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Collaborate with team members to optimize material flow and storage
Assist in conducting regular inventory audits
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in a material handling or warehouse environment
Familiarity with inventory management systems and tools
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excel Experience is helpful
Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items when required
Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) forklift certification is an advantage.
Availability to work overtime including weekends and evenings when necessary
