Join Our Team as a Process Engineer in St. Clair, MI
Pay Rate: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm (overtime as needed; flexible schedule possible)
Are you experienced in Screw Machine and CNC machining with a talent for tooling design, programming, and process optimization? We’re looking for a skilled Process Engineer to join our innovative and highly respected manufacturing team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop estimates for materials, processes, cycle times, and tooling needs for customer quotes.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes and implement improvements to boost efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Design and develop tooling solutions, including fixtures, jigs, and cutting tools.
  • Create CNC programs and optimize machining layouts for screw machines and secondary operations.
  • Collaborate with quality control to establish inspection procedures.
  • Troubleshoot tooling, programming, and machining issues to reduce downtime.
  • Train machine operators on setup, programming techniques, and process optimization.
  • Ensure safety and compliance with all regulations and company policies.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience in Screw Machine and CNC machining, tooling design, and programming.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Mastercam).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles (Six Sigma a plus).
  • Bachelor’s degree helpful, but not required.
