Job Description
Summary:Our client is manufacture of joining solutions for machines, vehicles, engines etc. within automotive, pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries. They are looking for a 2nd Shift (2:30pm -11:00pm) Material Handler to join their team. The person in this role will be responsible for the unloading of trucks, verification of incoming shipments, transferring material to shelves and picking material from shelves for shipment.Responsibilities:
Unloads supplier trucks by hand, using a Hi-Lo and/or using a pallet jack
Verifies incoming material for accuracy
Separates inbound material and transfers to warehouse racks
Checks in return goods through return material authorization procedures
Conducts daily Hi-Lo inspections
Receives materials into the ERP system
Pulls outgoing orders
Verifies customer part number with company’s part number
Verifies box quantity
Stages finished goods in designated areas
Qualifications:
Familiarity with MRP/ ERP systems. i.e. SAP
SPC and ISO/TS understanding
Power Lockout Certification
Hi-Lo Drivers Certificate
Standup Hi-Lo experience (preferred)
Demonstrated commitment to meet all safety requirements
