Marine Rigger / Service Writer

Service Writer duties:
Most of the work is done via phone but some customers may walk in to discuss their needs.
Responsible for writing up the order, entering order into system and communicating needs with mechanics/riggers.
Working as the liaison between internal staff and customer.
Marine Rigger duties:
Working mainly with 12-volt electrical wiring to install accessories and motors to boats. Most common accessories are light and sound systems. May also help trouble shoot other electrical/mechanical issues with motors.
Willing to train the right person. Not as physical or stressful and great hours.
Skills needed to apply
Basic electrical knowledge,
Problem solving skills and good reading/interpretation skills.

Prefer at least 1 year of auto/truck/marine mechanic experience or recent education.
Understand the basics of motors.
