Charlottesville, VA 22901
(Imaging computers for large platform cancer radiation machines.)
This position requires the person to unpack Dell PC and server computers and place them on build tables. A vacuum lift system is available for this procedure. The computers will be powered up and an image will be loaded, and a series of test steps will be followed to complete the image process.
Once the imaging and test report is done the computers are re-packed into the original boxes and stacked onto a pallet for shipping. Sometimes the computers are shipped individually and shipped with Monitors or other products that are not built or processed prior to shipping.
The next procedure requires the build process to be recorded in the SAP system which manipulates the inventory of the built computers and serializes the computers for traceability as per the FDA and ISO procedures. Once the SAP functions are complete the method of shipping the computers to the customer is determined either by Parcel shipping or LTL freight depending on the size and location of the order.
