Manufacturing Maintenance Technician ( 2nd Shift) Job Type: DIRECT HIREShift: 2ndPay: $30-$38 based on experience
We are engaged in a search for a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician for our exceptional client who is an established leader in the automotive components manufacturing industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to join a dynamic team. Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager and Shift Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining plant operations, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring the overall functionality of the facility's physical assets. Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and solve technical problems
Use hand tools effectively
Repair and maintain production equipment
Build wood crates as needed
Work with hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
Operate and troubleshoot PLC systems
Skills & Requirements:
Regular, predictable attendance
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with co-workers
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Welding, mechanical, and electrical skills
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Self-motivated with strong problem-solving capabilities
Education & Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Welding experience (required)
Maintenance expertise 9required)
HVAC experience (preferred)
Electrical knowledge (preferred)
PLC/HMI knowledge (preferred)
Licensing & Certifications:
Crane Certification (required)
Working Conditions:
This position operates in an automotive components manufacturing facility where exposure to heat, cold, fumes, and chemicals may occur.
