Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers, grinders)
  • Load and unload raw materials such as metal and plastic
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and part specifications
  • Load CNC programs and adjust machine settings (feeds, speeds, offsets)
  • Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Troubleshoot production issues and make necessary adjustments
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Technical Skills
  • CNC setup and operation experience
  • Knowledge of G-code and M-code
  • Blueprint reading and GD&T
  • Experience with precision measuring tools
  • CAM software experience (Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidCAM) preferred
  • Basic machine maintenance knowledge
Soft Skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Problem-solving mindset
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Typical Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–3+ years of CNC machining experience (varies by role)
  • Vocational or technical training preferred
  • Strong math skills (fractions, decimals, geometry)
  • Manual machining experience is a plus
Work Environment
  • Manufacturing floor setting
  • PPE required (steel-toed boots, safety glasses, hearing protection)
  • Shift work available (1st and 2nd shift)
