Job Description
Position: Customer ServiceCoordinator Location: Grand Blanc, MI Pay: $18/hour Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm - OT and weekends may be required We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Customer Service Specialist to support order management and customer communication for our client’s materials team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while providing a high level of customer support. Responsibilities:
Enter and maintain customer orders accurately, including non-EDI orders
Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, delivery status, and account information
Coordinate expedited freight shipments as needed
Manage order changes by working with customers to adjust delivery dates
Access and maintain customer portals and customer-specific requirements
Complete required documentation related to shipping, customs, or trade compliance as needed
Assist with daily review of pending orders alongside production and scheduling teams
Support inventory activities including cycle counts and physical inventories
Assist with audits and provide support during audit processes
Communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure customer needs are met
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous customer service, administrative, or order entry experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Excel experience preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Basic math skills
