Summary:Our client is a leader in process solutions for the food and beverage industry. They are currently looking to add a Project Manager to their team. In this role this person would be responsible for providing leadership and guidance for the implementation of projects at customer facilities. Responsibilities:
Assist the Engineering Manager with technical oversight of engineering and installation personnel for assigned projects.
Assist the Engineering Manager with internal coordination of engineering, material ordering, and fabrication to keep assigned projects on schedule.
Taking ownership of assigned projects and tracking their progress through the full life cycle of a project
Ensure that contractual scope and specified requirements are being met.
Monitor and track the fiscal progress of assigned projects
Coordinate with Sales and Estimating Departments to provide technical review of proposals and preparation of Change Orders for assigned projects.
Assist with technical and cost evaluation of proposals to customers
Create and manage project schedules for assigned projects.
Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED or a two (2) year technical / Associate’s degree.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering
Three (3) years of experience in fluid system/equipment design
Three (3) years of project management for construction or industrial process installation
High level of computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook, Project, AutoCAD).
