Quality Manager Direct Hire Fraser, OHJob Type: Direct HireShift: DaysPay: 80-125K We are partnering with a client to hire a Quality Manager for a direct hire opportunity supporting a manufacturing facility near Defiance. This role is responsible for leading the Quality function while supporting Manufacturing teams to improve product quality, delivery performance, and safety. Position Summary The Quality Manager provides leadership and oversight of the Quality Management System to ensure all outgoing products meet established standards. This role drives continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and safety, while guiding and developing quality processes and team performance. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Quality function within a manufacturing environment
Oversee all inspection and quality assurance activities including CMM operations and data review
Ensure compliance with quality standards including IATF, ISO, and customer requirements
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across CNC machining and manufacturing processes
Manage customer complaints, internal non conformances, and corrective actions
Oversee supplier quality performance and resolution of supplier issues
Lead APQP and PPAP processes for new and existing programs
Direct MRB activities and disposition decisions
Review SPC data and ensure corrective actions are implemented
Maintain and improve quality documentation, systems, and reporting
Provide leadership, training, and guidance to quality and cross functional teams
Support audits and ensure audit readiness at all times
Evaluate and recommend quality equipment and process improvements
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 plus years experience in manufacturing quality
Experience in CNC machining environments
Experience with CMM inspection and data analysis
Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis
Experience working with ISO or IATF quality systems
Preferred
Bachelor degree or technical degree
Prior leadership or team oversight experience
Experience in automotive or similar manufacturing environment
