Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

Are you looking to work in a quick pace and professional environment that will allow you to advance in the company and apply your skills? This position is a temp-to-hire position that has the opportunity to be hired on full-time (with benefits!) after 90 days. Apply now!

Hours are 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday with occasional overtime. Pay is $19.50 hr.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain general understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements and departmental procedures. 
  • Recognize and adhere to all company safety programs; knowledge of OSHA, LOTO, and corresponding safety precautions are necessary for the safe performance of duties.
  • Set up and install of industrial manufacturing equipment.
  • Repair or replace machine parts such as motors, gearboxes, bearings, etc. 
  • Maintain appropriate maintenance and repair logs.
  • Maintain all aspects of equipment preventative maintenance schedules including shift, daily, weekly, monthly, bi-annual, and annual maintenance.
  • Must be able to operate forklift and scissor lift within the safety guidelines.
  • Conduct inventory of tools parts and supplies.
  • Assist in the implementation of new CMMs. 
  • Conduct PM as assigned by Maintenance Manager.
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned. 
  • Maintain a working knowledge and be in compliance with corporate standards for business conduct and federal antitrust laws.
  • Keep the Maintenace Manager and managers informed at all times of potential issues and concerns.
  • Examine objects, systems, or facilities and analyze information to determine needed installations, services, or repairs. 

Qualifications
  • 3 - 5 Years of Maintenance Experience
  • Must communicate well, written and verbally.
  • Must be steady, reliable worker and able to work effectively with others.
  • Participate in trouble shooting and problem resolution.
  • Must be proficient in math and measurements.
  • Must have worked as a maintenance technician previously in a Manufacturing or Industrial setting. (This does not include residential maintenance)
  • Must know how to operate a forklift and scissor lift.
