This position involves performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and preventative maintenance systems and processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting, lubricating, and cleaning equipment
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs
Install new machinery and equipment as needed
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of equipment and facilities
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in maintenance or a related field preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn new software programs
Good time management and organizational skills
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and 30 pounds unassisted
Capable of climbing over and under machinery and working in tight spaces
Must be able to work in environments with varying temperatures
