Job Description
Summary:Our client is a market leader in the food industry and has been so over 120 years. They are currently looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. In this role this person will be responsible for leading a team of skilled technicians, implementing preventive maintenance strategies, minimizing equipment downtime, and ensuring all work is performed safely and in compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities:
Supervise and support the daily activities of the maintenance team.
Develop and manage a preventive maintenance (PM) program
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and automated systems.
Ensure compliance with food safety and environmental standards.
Maintain equipment performance to support consistent and high-quality production output.
Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate orders to avoid delays.
Keep accurate maintenance logs and service records.
Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and cost savings.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
Three (3)+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment.
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair.
Familiarity with digital maintenance tracking programs.
Working knowledge of regulatory requirements (FDA, USDA, OSHA, SQF, HACCP).
