Job Title: Machine TechnicianDepartment: Production Reports To: Team Leader and Manager Supervises: Not Applicable Essential Job Functions:The Machine Technician is responsible for operating plastic blow molding machines and related equipment, performing preventative maintenance (PMs), and completing basic mechanical and process-related tasks. This position will occasionally work with MT 3 and Maintenance. The primary duties include:
Adheres to and enforces all established Safety, Health, QA, BRC Standards, and Company policies, procedures, and recognized practices.
Follows all Safety Protocols, including Lock Out / Tag Out procedures.
Participates in continuous quality improvement (CIP) with the team.
Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work area according to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Supplies Production Lines with required materials and packaging.
Ensures consistent manufacturing production, performing frequent visual checks to ensure a quality product.
Maintains accurate and timely machine operating records, including daily and weekly logs.
Promptly notifies the Team Leader and/or maintenance of any issues or problems.
Completes other duties as assigned, including GO tasks.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
Basic math aptitude and mechanical skills.
Must be able to safely handle lifting weights up to 50 pounds. The position requires standing, frequent bending, and twisting movements throughout the shift.
A minimum of 2-3 years in manufacturing is required, with 1-2 years of machine operation experience.

Availability for mandatory overtime, including weekends.
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and complete assignments within given parameters, routines, and standard practices.
Effective communicator: clearly conveys facts and information both verbally and in writing.
Collaborative: proactively contributes to team objectives and volunteers to help others.
