Job Description
Summary: Our client is a leading provider of high-quality metal fabrication, stamping, and powder coating solutions. They are looking for a dedicated and motivated General Labor/Machine Operator to join their growing team. As the job title suggests the person in this role will be exposed to multiple departments within the organization and cross trained on the various machines within the facility. Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor various machinery used in metal fabrication.
Assist in the preparation and setup of machines for production runs.
Load and unload raw materials and finished products as required.
Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
Assist in the powder coating process by preparing surfaces for coating.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.
Follow operating procedures and safety protocols to minimize risks and hazards.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
Troubleshoot and report any equipment malfunctions or production issues promptly.
Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in manufacturing (metal fabrication a plus).
Ability to operate machinery, including basic computer skills for machine operation.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
