Job Description
Our client is a leader in fastener applications in automotive, aerospace and defense industries. They are looking for a Machine Operator to join their team. In this role this person will be responsible for maintaining continuous improvement in quality and productivity while focusing on the job and the customer’s specifications. Responsibilities and duties
Set up stamping presses based on work orders and operate them to shape metal
Perform quality checks during production runs to ensure the machine is working as intended
Run production and monitor machine to meet daily goals and resolve issues that could impact production quotas and timelines
Follow all safety policies and procedures, including wearing the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Manually pack metal components into containers and ensure each package is labeled correctly
Complete required paperwork as needed for a given job on a press
Education and skills required
High School Diploma
2-3 years minimum of stable experience in a manufacturing environment is required
