Job Description


We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to join our client’s production team. As a Food Production Machine Operator, your primary responsibility will be to operate and maintain our scaling equipment to ensure the production of top-notch food products. You will play a vital role in maintaining production efficiency, adhering to safety protocols, and contributing to the overall success of our food production process.

Shift: 4pm – 4am Monday through Friday

Pay: $18 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor scaling equipment to produce high-quality food products in compliance with company standards and specifications.
  • Maintain a focus on efficiency, ensuring production targets are met while minimizing downtime and waste.
  • Adhere strictly to safety procedures and guidelines, promoting a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Demonstrate basic math skills to accurately measure and weigh ingredients for production batches.
  • Understand and follow scaling equipment operating procedures and troubleshoot any minor issues that may arise during production.
  • Utilize thermometers to monitor temperatures and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and safety.
  • Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met throughout the production process.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized, including regular equipment cleaning and sanitation tasks.
  • Lift and move ingredients and materials, occasionally weighing up to 50 pounds, as part of the production process.
  • Work in a hot and humid environment while maintaining a positive attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality products.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Previous experience as a Machine Operator in a food production setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk throughout the shift and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety standards is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on producing consistent, high-quality products.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work evening shifts from 4:00 PM to 4:00 AM.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work in a hot and humid environment for extended periods.
