Job Description
Do you have GREAT customer service skills and eye for detail. Our client is looking for a Logistics Team Member in Fort Valley, GAHours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm Pay is: $21.15 an hour RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assumes responsibility for the accurate entry of customer orders
Acknowledges orders, verifies pricing, billing, shipping addresses and informs customers of any problems
Research and resolves problems with orders
Processes orders in a timely fashion, meeting all deadlines
Conducts customer surveys and compiles results for management review and consideration
Creates the pack list and the Bill of Lading and scans into IMS and sends to the customer as needed
Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining professional working relationships with customers
Resolves questions, requests, and promptly and courteously addresses problems
Keeps customers informed of Company policies, procedures, and status of their orders
Maintains the Company's professional reputation
Provides consistent feedback in a professional and timely manner.
Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems
Maintains the Customer Complaint/Feedback Log and works closely with the Quality Manager to provide resolutions to the customer regarding the complaint
Process purchase requests and orders in an accurate and timely manner.
Conduct Inventory Cycle Counts as required.
Qualifications:
Must have Forklift Experience
High School Diploma or GED required.
Excellent communications and public relations skills
Self-Starter and Highly Motivated
Good grasp of problem-solving techniques
Able to work in a fast paced environment
Able to work independently as well as part of a team
Able to continuously lift and/or move 10 pounds and up to 25 pounds
Pleasant phone mannerism
Punctual and regular attendance
Flexible and able to adjust to change
Highly attentive to detail
Willingness to assist others
Proficiency using AS 400(BPCS) Microsoft Word and Excel
