  • Create and coordinate the preparation and release of financial and management reports
  • Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing report procedures and systems and develop strategies for enhancing or leveraging these processes and systems 
  • Work directly with decision makers and end users to understand, define, and document current and possible future reporting goals, needs, and requirements 
  • Responsible for mock up, development, implementation, and training of internal customer requested reporting needs 
  • Develop, coordinate distribution, and maintain reporting templates for investment to report financial and operational information 
  • Retrieve and utilize information from the accounting system and other data sources and, when necessary, recommend and manage the development and implementation  
  • Design, develop, publish, and maintain management dashboards 
  • Research and recommend key performance indicators in order to provide better intelligence in reporting 
  • Identify automation and process improvement ideas and implement 
  • Write and maintain processes related to all standard reporting


  • SAP, or Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing experience a plus.  
  • Warehouse experience
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience
  • High level of proficiency with MS Excel (Chart and/or report creation)  
  • High level of proficiency with PowerPoint
  • Proven experience with report writing and technical requirements analysis 
  • Possess the skill to creatively solve problems and propose solutions with minimal direction 
  • Proven ability to capture and document end-user requirements; demonstrated project management skills 
  • Creative and with a strong attention to detail 
  • Strong interpersonal/customer service skills. Ability to communicate effectively with others; demonstrated collaborative skills 
  • Able to prioritize work and multi-task in a fast paced setting, willing to take on new projects and be flexible 
  • Design reports for performance, data quality, and simplicity/maintainability, and articulate trade-offs as appropriate 
  • Proven experience with reporting tools, software, and other applications 
  • Practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets and graphs 
  • Considerable exposure to the operation and analysis of relational database software and standards, as well as data retrieval methodologies 
  • Strong technical skills including the ability to merge data from various sources, write formulas to summarize data, translate data into a user-friendly reports, and data mine for necessary drill-down metrics 
  • Excellent design skills; conceptualize complex data flows/transformations and translate into step sequences  
  • Complete understanding of financial statements, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, Profit/Loss Statements and Cash Flow Statements 
  • 3-5 years’ experience
