Junior Manufacturing Data and Cost Control Analyst Job Type: Direct Hire Location: Adairsville, GA Compensation: $70K to $80K plus 10% bonus About the Opportunity We are a recruiting firm partnering with a growing manufacturing organization seeking a high potential professional for a Manufacturing Data and Cost Control Analyst role. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early career professional who is interested in building a long term career in manufacturing operations, analytics, and cost control. Extensive manufacturing experience is not required. We are looking for motivated individuals with strong analytical ability, business acumen, and a desire to learn. Training will be provided. Position Overview The Manufacturing Data and Cost Control Analyst will support production operations by tracking material usage, analyzing consumption data, identifying variances, and assisting with cost control initiatives. This role works cross functionally with operations, finance, and data teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
Monitor and track material usage across production processes
Analyze production and consumption data to identify trends, variances, and inefficiencies
Assist in investigating discrepancies and support corrective action efforts
Partner with operations and finance teams to align production data with cost reporting
Support reporting and data validation to ensure accuracy and transparency
Contribute to process improvement and material efficiency initiatives
Provide actionable insights to support management decision making
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics, Engineering, Manufacturing Processes, or related field
Recent graduates encouraged to apply
Strong analytical and numerical skills
High attention to detail
Interest in manufacturing operations and cost management
Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate across departments
Eager to learn and grow within a manufacturing environment
Preferred but Not Required
Internship or academic project experience related to data analysis or manufacturing
Exposure to ERP systems or data reporting tools
