JOB: Inventory Control Clerk PAY: $15.50/hourlySHIFT: 1st (8:00a-4:30p) Mon-FriLOCATION: Calhoun, GA Currently searching a candidate for an Inventory Control Clerk position for a local manufacturing client that focuses in area rugs, broadloom carpet and home accents. The Inventory Control Clerk will be maintain inventory levels and accuracy in a distribution center. This position is responsible for reporting, physical inventory, and system audits and for utilizing the inventory management system. Responsibilities:
Verifies clerical inventory records against physical inventory counts
Prepares inventory reports to departments
Data entry into inventory management system
Investigates and reports inventory discrepancies
Communicate and report any incidents for the Inventory Manager
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor
Requirements:
Supervisory skill set preferred
Computer knowledge required
Equipment operating experience
AS400/CAMS
Microsoft Office and PC necessary
