Job Description
Do you have experience working in production and manufacturing? Qualified Staffing is seeking a hands-on, detailed Inventory Control Associate for our client in Montezuma, Ga. Hours: Shift will vary Pay: $18/hour Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily inventory cycle counts and ensure FIFO rotation.
Manage product requisitions from storage to production, updating inventory data in the warehouse system.
Verify product quality and quantity after receiving and address inventory issues as needed.
Support production targets by understanding and fulfilling inventory needs.
Communicate inventory changes to the Inventory Control Team Lead.
Resolve issues related to inventory, product quality, or yields.
Assemble and package meal kits to specifications, maintaining GMP and safety standards.
Operate equipment such as conveyor belts and ensure cleanliness in work areas.
Rotate, check, and receive food ingredients for accuracy and freshness.
Complete required paperwork and follow all PPE and GMP requirements.
Escalate food safety, quality, or equipment issues to appropriate teams when necessary.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in counting large quantities of products (items, cases, pallets).
Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to follow processes while identifying areas for improvement.
Self-motivated with problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
A willingness to adapt and learn as job requirements evolve.
Forklift experience required.
