We need your experience and leadership skills! Lapeer area plastic injection molding manufacturer is looking for a Line Lead to join their team. This is a ist Shift position,5AM-3PM, Monday-Friday; pay is $17 per hire. Direct hire after 500 completed hours of employment. Must have prior leadership experience/line lead experience and plastic injection molding experience is preferred. Up-to-date resume must be submitted for consideration. This role will be supporting the Supervisor and Manager and has potential for growth. Apply online or call 810-664-0573. Reports to: Molding Supervisor Summary: Assisting with daily production on approximately 50 machines while ensuring overall productivity within the department. General supervision of colleagues including the delegating of responsibilities, scheduling of parts to run and the issuing of job assignments. Qualifications: Must have knowledge of a wide range of press sizes, injection molding processes, machines and tools. Must possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written along with the ability to lead and direct 30 or more subordinates. Injection molding background in automotive setting is preferred. High school diploma or GED is required. Job Responsibilities:1. Scheduled jobs to be ready for production at the start of each shift.2. Assist with the assignment of operators. 3. Assist with proper job set-up.4. Ensure that first shot approval is obtained from Quality Inspectors. 5. Ensure operator acknowledgement sheets are signed by operator and initialed by supervisor. Ensure all hourly checks of all jobs are being done. 6. Quick and professional response to operator or quality personnel questions or concerns on part quality. 7. Record pertinent shift events in supervisor’s log. 8. Assist upcoming shift with job start-up and set-up. 9. Assist with operator required training. 10. Performs other duties as assigned.
