HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGERPRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide human resources advice and consultation to employees and management to include coaching/counseling on performance management issues, conflict management, interpretation of employment policies and resolution
Resolve employee relations issues by conducting effective and thorough investigations
Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws/regulations, and recommend best practices to executive management; review the employee handbook to maintain compliance
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
Administer benefit programs (healthcare, life/disability, retirement plans, etc.) and manage the payroll function for U.S., Canada and UK entities
Manage the annual health/welfare (including open enrollment) process and provide support with the property/casualty insurance renewal
Manage the recruiting process, including employee onboarding and offboarding
Develop and implement a performance evaluation program.
Lead company communications on HR and various other topics
Coordinate corporate events as required
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources related field
3-5 years of related experience in human resources, Management experience strongly preferred
Previous benefit administration experience
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills
Ability to solve complex problems with experience in conflict resolution
High attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of current U.S. Labor Laws
Payroll experience preferred
Ability to work with and manage various consultants and legal relationships
